Honri 2.0 test drive review

Exterior
The exterior of CKD seems pretty solid. The metal sheets seem thick and of better quality than Suzuki vehicles in Pakistan. I will keep comparing Honri with Suzuki Wagon R and Cultus since it's direct competitor of these 2 vehicles. Materials used are of good quality overall. The only complaint I have is of inconsistent panel gaps for the trunk and bonnet/hood. Doors were fine, but the trunk and bonnet panel gaps were not equal on both sides.

Interior
Like the exterior, the materials used in the interior are of good quality if you compare it with the Suzuki vehicles. It's spacious, not doubt, but the rear sitting capacity is too much. They could have moved the rear seats 2~3 inches forward and increase the trunk space a bit. The seats are hard, but the CKD seats are slightly better than CBU. Not sure if it's due to the use of fabric instead of leather.

Drive
Overall, I was surprised with the driving experience. It was above my expectations. The acceleration in normal mode was like a vehicle with big ICE engine. In eco-mode, it was like any small ICE vehicle like Alto. Then body roll was better than Wagon R considering both are boxy vehicles. The suspension of CKD is softer than the CBU. Surprisingly, the AC of CKD was also better than CBU. AC takes only 1 kW power when the vehicle is idle. The brake pedal feel is confusing for the first time user due to regen. I remember few group members of Seres 3 were also saying the same when they took test drive. I think the person will get used to it once he owns the EV. Braking power was good.

I noticed the max power is limited to 14.5~15 kW in eco-mode. Once you enter the normal mode, that limit is removed. You have to use normal mode if you want to climb a steep hill from standstill. As an example, when climbing the dealership entrance, I had to use the normal mode, it was not able to climb in eco-mode. The entrance was pretty steep (uphill).

Overall, it's a good package. I would recommend it over Suzuki vehicles if you are shopping for a small vehicle.
